Thanks to my WONDERFUL friend ROBIN, the boys and I were able to fly to SG (standby of course) two weeks before Brian this time.
Lucas was ecstatic! Levi was happy and having fun as well, although for some reason when I snapped this picture he was making the biggest frowny face ever.
We flew from ABQ to SLC and then, after an extremely long lay over, SLC to SGU. Levi fell asleep as soon as we got off the plane.
It was a fight to get Lucas away from this window.
Luckily the SLC airport has these fun little play areas all over the place and my boys were able to kill some time. Then they watched movies.
When our plane got a mechanical delay we made friends with some very nice boys on their way home from their missions. Where were they coming from do you ask? Why BRAZIL of course :)
We were able to go to SGU just in time to see my uncle (and tour group of 8) before they left to go back home to Brazil. I unfortunately took no pictures, and am anxiously awaiting someone to send me some :) So, on the 24th of July (Pioneer Day in Utah) we took a little drive to Gunlock for an adventure and to visit some friends.
Lucas was having a blast chasing the chickens.
Victor (English student staying with my parents) and Alan Hardy
Elaine Hardy helping us pick some of their delicious wild Blackberries! Thank you so much Hardy's!
This is why people in my family stay skinny, we pack kids around two at a time!
Victor stayed an extra week after the other students left and my boys adored having him around! It was fun to have an extra distraction and hopefully we helped him learn/practice his English :)
This is what Vovo's are for right? Feeding chocolate covered cookies to babies wearing white shirts :)
We babysat my niece one night and when it was time for my boys bath, she insisted and she take one with them. It was cute to see Lucas giving them hugs and so nice that my parents got this new house with an enormous tub!
So glad my mom happened to catch this shot of Lucas pointing and asking me "Mom, where'd her peepee go?"
