Wreath, Car, Play-Doh

While I was doing dishes I could hear the boys fighting. Neither of them wanted to tell me what was going on.  By the time I was done, they had resolved their issue. Both of them decided they could squish together in the car! Levi was not happy that I made them stop to take this picture.

I feel kind of bad that I never did this before :( Play-Doh kind of freaks me out. I think it's too messy! Even as a kid (although I liked to play with it) I was always worried about the little pieces that flake off and get into the carpet.
They got some from a place on base for free at Christmas time so I finally let them play with it.

Levi had fun figuring it out

Lucas had fun "making leaves" and then I made a giraffe to eat his leaves.

After Levi "got in trouble" for trying to eat the Play-Doh, he had lots of fun taking the lid on and off :)

Lucas loves to be a goof while we Skype with my parents.  He found our wreath on the floor and decided to put it on Gus!  Once he saw how funny it was,...he had to put it on himself too!

See my dad in the background? Yeah we like life size talking :)

I got this fabric for Lucas' birthday and then decided not to use it.  With trains and tracks all over my house I finally found a purpose for it. Bags! There is a bigger bag for the tracks and a slightly smaller one for the trains :)

More sewing projects

 What an addiction I have...

Snow storm

Well we ALMOST had a white Christmas...

Yesterday we got a nice snow storm, in the morning it was too wet but towards mid afternoon it was nice a fluffy and finally sticking around longer. The kids had a ton of fun playing in it and Brian had fun throwing snowballs at them :)

How is this cutie pie 16 months already?

Brian loves to eat snow, so last night he went and scrapped a layer off the BBQ and made him and the boys REAL snow cones! It grosses me out, but they seemed to love it :)

Christmas morning

Brian's work gave him the week BEFORE Christmas off, so we made special arrangements with Santa for him to come a week early so we could have fun playing all week.  I am TERRIBLE at taking pictures during the present opening time because I want to be a part of the moment and we set the tripod up to record the whole thing.

Lucas opened his presents lightning fast and Levi just wanted to eat Santa's left over cookies.  Seriously, the kid only wanted goodies from his stocking or cookies, he couldn't have cared less about the presents!

Brian got a gas smoker, wood chips, smoker book, and accessories (oh and Battlefield 3).
Laura got a down comforter, PHOTOSHOP 10!, and lenses for her camera
Lucas got R/C car, trains & tracks, big tractor digger, and garbage truck
Levi got Little People stuff, trains & tracks, garbage truck, and 2 Tonka trucks

Christmas Eve

While the boys were taking their nap, the Prep and Landing elves snuck in and left a little gift for our family! They were so excited to get it, it really turned Lucas' frown upside down (he woke up in a very bad mood).

(I should have taken this as a hint for the next day. Here already he was only interested in eating his cookie, not opening the present)

Once he ate some popcorn he was ready to "go to Santa's pole" and ask him for a big tractor to scoop in the rocks

He FINALLY sat on Santa's lap! (Wouldn't do it last year or a couple weeks ago when we went to see him)

He sat there...but he wasn't having it...

I am going to miss the holidays here! Our housing office does fun activities for all the holidays!

Notice the cute matching jammie pants :) I was wearing mine too, but no one took a picture of me :(   I made these a few weeks ago for our whole little fam
