A whole month in 1 post!

Half of August was spent in SG on vacation we didn't end up doing much in August. Here is a short summary of the month:

* Levi wasn't eating baby food or solid food.  He was living off of bottles and mashed potatoes!
* Levi weighed 18.5lbs at his 1 year check up and was 28"? long (I will have to double check that)
* Levi got Roseola, Lucas got a cold

*Lucas tried Brian's cherry 7-up on Saturday and liked it.  On Sunday morning Lucas asked me if he could have some "burn juice".  I had no idea what he was talking about until he pulled a can of the soda out of the fridge! You can tell we don't have soda in our house often...
*Lucas is cracking me up with his tactics of trying to stay up even jsut a few minutes later.  Tonight when I was walking out of his room he said "MOM!" me: What Lucas?" .. no response .. "Goodnight Lucas"  Lucas:"MOM!" me: "What Lucas?"  Lucas: "Mom, I need some money in my room"
* I was Carrying Lucas on my shoulders and he said "Wow! You are a Super Hero" (not to be confused with a Superhero) "Just like Mickey Mouse"

 Since the weather felt to cool compared to SG, we made a trip to the zoo

Lightning Storms

July/August is supposed to be monsoon season here.  It rained just about every afternoon.  Usually not tons, but enough to get your car dirty.  This night in particular the lightning and thunder was super CRAZY!

End of SG Trip wrap-up

Well it's been almost two months since I started this post...better just finish it!

 Thanks Shan and Wyatt for having us over to swim!! We love it :)

 This is how far away I was taking the pictures.  I was upstairs, in the kitchen and also on the balcony right off the kitchen. My parents just bought this house and it came with the awesome playground and a trampoline that was falling apart so Brian took out the old broken one and put in our old one.

 Since I am so horrible at remembering to take pictures while on vacation I got these from my cousin.

 It was GREAT to see you guys! I hope it won't be another 5+ years before we see you again

Thank you so much to all those who made it out to celebrate with us!  Now that Lucas is getting older it is a lot more fun to do big fun parties :)  Time to start planning next years!
