Years of sorrow soon to end

Raquel will have to correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it was 3 years ago that this story starts. My sister and I went to the Brazilian consulate in Los Angeles to renew our passports when I got some startling news. Because my parents never took the time (in 18 years mind you) to register my birth with the Brazilian government I was no longer "Legally" a Brazilian. It was going to be this incredibly long process (with lots of lying and trickery) to get me my citizenship back.

On Monday my Dad went to the consulate to get his passport and I had him take all of my documents with him and see what the process would be again so we could get something started when they go to Brazil this summer. That is when he got the best news!! Within a month or two I can legally be a Brazilian again!!! WooHooo!! I can't wait to have that beautiful green passport again and get it for Lucas and the baby and then Brian will have to decide if he wants it or not.
